Heroin Action Coalition of Carroll County (HACCC)
The Heroin Action Coalition of Carroll County (HACCC)is a non-profit outreach program for families dealing with substance use disorders and heroin addiction. HACCC offers support and education to individuals, families, and communities struggling with issues caused by substance use disorders and heroin addiction. Because addiction is a chronic, relapsing disease, we need to be vigilant in our efforts to prevent the spread of substance use while concentrating on the rehabilitation of those already lost to addiction. While we focus on heroin addiction screening for and treatment of all substance use disorders is our goal. Our website sponsors a message board where people can talk about substance use, treatment, relapse, experiences, your frustrations. Have questions?...post it here. Illinois Alcoholhism and Drug Dependence Association
IADDA is a statewide organization established in 1967 representing more than 100 prevention and treatment agencies, as well as individuals who are interested in the substance abuse field. The Association advocates for sound public policy that will create healthier families and safer communities. IADDA members educate government officials in Springfield and Washington, and work to increase the public's understanding of substance abuse and addiction.
