NHFA Care Advice
NHFA provides free advice and information, available to all regardless of means, on obtaining and paying for care. Combining advice to illustrate the affordability of chosen care together with the many other complex issues older people and their families should consider including local authority charging procedures, health authority responsibilities, DWP benefits and legal matters. The NHFA aims to enable older people obtain and meet the cost of their chosen care for life whilst also preserving their original capital and with that their independence, dignity and choice. Local advisers will visit families if required. Care Advice Line 0800 99 88 33 NHFA also provides free training and workshops to SSD care managers and the voluntary sector on these issues.

Technical Assistance ALLIANCE for Parent Centers
The Technical Assistance Alliance for Parent Centers is an innovative project that supports a unified technical assistance system for the purpose of developing, assisting and coordinating Parent Training and Information Projects and Community Parent Resource Centers under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). This project is funded by the U.S. Department of Education, Office of Special Education Programs and consists of 1 national center and 6 regional centers. The project is funded to strengthen the connections to the larger technical assistance network and fortify partnerships between parent centers and state education systems at regional and national levels.
