Medical Illustration Graduate Program at the Medical College of Georgia
The Department of Medical Illustration at the Medical College of Georgia is home to the Medical Illustration Graduate Program and offers the premier graduate science degree in biomedical communications. We value the classic techniques of art as applied to medicine, such as: carbon dust, pen and ink, and watercolor. Regardless of the medium, we place great emphasis on drawing and painting skills. We also teach state-of-the-art biomedical visualization and multimedia concepts and techniques, including: digital image creation, capture and manipulation, as well as PowerPoint, 2D animation, morphing, 3D animation, molecular modeling, QTVR and Website design and construction.
