Stepping Stones Center
Founded in 1963, Stepping Stones Center offered the first day camp program specificallly designed for children with disabilities in Cincinnati. Today, more than 40 years later, Stepping Stones Center continues to respond to community needs through various inclusive services for toddlers through adults. The agency mission is to provide opportunities for children and adults with disabilities which increase independence and promote inclusion within the community. continue to respond to the needs of over a thousand individuals each year. Over 800 volunteers (teens, college students, adults)give countless hours of vital service annually. In addition to summer day camps and residential overnight camping -- other services provided year-round include: Toddler/Preschool, Adult Day Habilitation, Adult Independent Services, Adapted Aquatics, Weekends Away/Respite Services and Adventure Trips for Adults.
